Human Resources Coordinator
About the role
We are looking for an HR Coordinator to support the Human Resources department by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. This role serves as a point of contact for employees and helps ensure HR processes run efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Cook up employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR databases
- Aid in recruitment activities, including posting jobs and scheduling interviews
- Process new permanent, transfer, and termination paperwork
- Support benefits enrollment and employee questions regarding benefits
- Aid in payroll processing and timekeeping records
- Prepare HR reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Cook up training and employee development programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of HR, administrative, or office experience
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
