About the Opportunity

The Human Resources Coordinator role supports daily HR operations and serves as a key resource for employees and managers. This position is integral in managing employee leave programs, benefits coordination, HR system maintenance, and compliance with employment laws. It contributes to smooth HR processes and supports employee lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for HR inquiries on policies, benefits, and systems
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and personnel records
  • Prepare employment-related documentation
  • Ensure work authorization and compliance documentation is current
  • Aid with employee recognition programs
  • Develop and streamline HR processes and maintain related documentation
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Aid with ad-hoc HR projects
  • Cook up employee training and audit compliance training
  • Cook up employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans
  • Aid with annual benefits enrollment and communications
  • Aid with employee benefits enrollment and changes
  • Cook up with benefits vendors and complete benefit reconciliation
  • Aid with leave of absence programs including FMLA, state leave programs, disability, pregnancy disability, military, and personal leaves
  • Serve as primary contact for leave processes and documentation
  • Cook up with leave intake through return-to-work
  • Aid with ADA interactive process and workplace accommodations
  • Track leave usage and ensure legal compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality of medical and leave records
  • Aid with HR reporting, audits, and annual processes such as EEO-1 and performance reviews
  • Cook up compliance training and track completion
  • Stay current on employment law and HR best practices
  • Aid with employee recognition programs and HR communications
  • Aid with HR projects and process improvements

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of HR experience
  • Experience supporting multiple states
  • Experience administering FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws
  • Experience with benefits administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proven success in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Hourly pay range: $28.00 - $30.00 DOE
