About The Role

The Human Resources Coordinator manages the administrative tasks of the Pre-Employment Services division, serving as the bridge between applicants, doctors, and training staff. Their day-to-day responsibilities focus on streamlining processes, scheduling appointments, managing paperwork flow, handling sensitive information, and documenting everything. This position plays a key role in supporting applicants to become Deputy Sheriffs and Detention Deputies for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field.
• Experience: One (1) year of specialized administrative, human resources, or receptionist experience. Three (3) years of specialized administrative experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum requirements.
• Other Requirements: Must possess or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire a valid Arizona driver's license.

Skills

• Professional computer software experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, calendar management applications, call waiting/call transferring, eSOPH, and SharePoint.
• Professional experience handling, documenting, and organizing human resources, medical, or legal paper files.
• Current or previous experience with the Maricopa County Sheriff's office.
• Currently a Notary of the state of Arizona.

Pay Range: MIN-MID-MAX $21.75 - $29.13 - $36.50
