Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Maintains files and records
- Provides administrative support
- Data support and processing transactions
- Directs questions to the right parties
- Liaison between HR team, employees, departments, and external customers
- Ensures smooth functioning of HR processes
- Supports recruitment, employee onboarding, record maintenance, and compliance with university policies and procedures
- Handles some level of emerging exempt HR responsibilities
- May lead or oversee hourly staff or lower-level appointed staff
- Provides guidance and mentoring to intermediate level coordinators
General Responsibilities
- Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains academic and/or staff HR related work
- Researches and analyzes academic and/or staff HR related topics
- Creates, compiles, prepares, and analyzes reports and documents
- Performs and may coordinate data entry for processing transactions and maintaining information
- Supports and maintains academic and/or staff HR programs and events
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and documents
Education and Experience
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Work Experience: 3 years of HR related experience plus advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite products

Pay
$45,000.00 - $48,500.00 per year
Schedule
Sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
