About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the Human Resources department and to the on-site construction project at Oklaunion, Texas. This is a very large, complex, fast-paced mechanical construction site with union & non-union employees. This role provides hands-on HR support in employee onboarding, HR systems, employee relations and general HR support to the on-site project leaders.
Responsibilities
- Performs clerical & customer service functions for the HR department & project site leadership.
- Affords assistance with new hire onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, I-9s completion.
- Assists with processing new hire background checks & drug screens.
- Maintains & updates employee files.
- Maintains & updates EEO data spreadsheets.
- Verifies employment.
- Processes terminations & conducts exit interviews.
- Affords assistance with scheduling interviews & drafting offer letters, as needed.

- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction and/or union workforce is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- At least two-years related HR or Admin experience required.
- SHRM-CP or HRCI credential is a plus.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).
Schedule
This position is based on an active construction job site.
