Human Resources Coordinator
About the role
You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping the employee experience from first interaction through ongoing development. You’ll coordinate recruitment efforts—managing job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling and phone screens to support a smooth, effective hiring process. You’ll also lead onboarding, creating a welcoming experience that includes orientation, benefits education, and mentorship coordination. In addition, you’ll support internship programming, engagement initiatives, and talent pipeline efforts through career fairs and outreach.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment efforts—managing job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling and phone screens to support a smooth, effective hiring process.
- Lead onboarding, creating a welcoming experience that includes orientation, benefits education, and mentorship coordination.
- Support internship programming, engagement initiatives, and talent pipeline efforts through career fairs and outreach.
- Maintain HR systems and compliance by managing employee data, supporting UKG updates, and ensuring record retention and labor law requirements are met.
- Help keep HR resources current on SharePoint and contribute to employer branding efforts.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of HR experience or internship in HR strongly preferred.
- 1 year of interviewing experience required.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (UKG experience a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
