About the role
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in the United States. In this role you will be the first point of contact for candidates and new hires, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from application through onboarding. Due to the sensitive nature of employee data handled in this role, a background check and credit screening are required for all HR positions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with posting job listings across multiple platforms and screening incoming applications
- Schedule interviews and manage communication between candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee records within the HR information system
- Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new hires including document collection, system setup, and orientation scheduling
- Process HR paperwork including offer letters, employment contracts, and policy acknowledgment forms
- Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, time off, payroll questions, and general HR policies in a timely and professional manner
- Support open enrollment activities and assist with benefits administration tasks as needed
- Assist with HR reporting, compliance documentation, and internal audits
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of discretion when handling confidential employee information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with HR tools, applicant tracking systems, or HRIS platforms is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and credit screening — standard for all HR roles
- No prior HR experience required — comprehensive paid training is provided from day one
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
