Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. They assist in the full cycle recruiting process for hourly associates, ensuring compensation equity, monitoring retention, conducting exit interviews, and managing various HR functions.

Responsibilities

• Completes full cycle recruiting process for hourly associates including compensation equity.
• Safeguards confidential information and processes benefit actions, pay increases, associate reviews, etc. for hourly associates.
• Maintains confidentiality with all sensitive information.
• Supports the store's open door policy and responds to and resolves first level associate relation issues.
• Assists with planning and implementing associate recognition and other activities.
• Affirms compliance with all HR-related policies, practices, and directions from the company.
• Maintains records and ensures compliance with legal posters, notices, and other documents.
• Supports performance management, annual review processes, and succession planning for hourly associates.
• Performs administrative duties such as filing, copying, and other tasks as needed.
• Collaborates with senior HRM for handling complex associate relation issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree required: High School education or 1-2 years administrative/office experience.
• Experience: HR experience desired.
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to calculate figures, interpret and analyze data from reports; ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
