About the role
The role is reporting to the Human Resources Director or Human Resources Business Partner and involves supporting the human resources team.
Responsibilities
- Aiding in the full recruitment process, including administrative follow-up, background checks, onboarding, and creation of employee files.
- Being the onsite point of contact for employees.
- Creating performance reports for various human resources key performance indicators (recruitment, turnover rate, etc.).
- Documenting employee files related to disciplinary and other HR processes.
- Ensuring that HR documents, corporate organization charts, and annual calendars are updated and sent to managers.
- Coordinating certain human resources processes such as the annual evaluation process, quarterly bonuses, end of probation, etc.
- Contributing to new HR initiatives and business-related projects.
- Coordinating training with the HR team to ensure delivery on sites.
- Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and providing assistance.
- Liaising with other departments or functions as necessary (Payroll, Benefits, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years in an HR position.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Office suite (Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Adept at handling confidential data with discretion.
- Able to meet deadlines and be proactive.
- Bilingual in Spanish considered an asset.
