About the role
The HR Coordinator provides hands-on support for the daily operations of the Human Resources department, focusing on recruiting and staffing logistics while also supporting HR administration, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruiting activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and follow-up communications.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and reference checks.
- Cook up onboarding, offboarding, employee recordkeeping, and HR documentation.
- Maintain employee files and support compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and HR-related matters.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and internal communications.
- Aid with leave of absence processes, handbook updates, and HR administrative tasks.
- Maintain recruiting and HR trackers, databases, and reporting.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Prior Human Resources, recruiting, administrative, or related professional experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Self-directed and self-motivated
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Qualifications
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition
- Human Resources administration or employee relations
- Financial services, banking, insurance, or investment advisory environments
- HRIS systems, payroll platforms, or ADP experience

- Base Salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience
