About the role

The HR Coordinator provides hands-on support for the daily operations of the Human Resources department, focusing on recruiting and staffing logistics while also supporting HR administration, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance-related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and follow-up communications.
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Cook up onboarding, offboarding, employee recordkeeping, and HR documentation.
  • Maintain employee files and support compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and HR-related matters.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and internal communications.
  • Aid with leave of absence processes, handbook updates, and HR administrative tasks.
  • Maintain recruiting and HR trackers, databases, and reporting.
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Prior Human Resources, recruiting, administrative, or related professional experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Self-directed and self-motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Qualifications

  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition
  • Human Resources administration or employee relations
  • Financial services, banking, insurance, or investment advisory environments
  • HRIS systems, payroll platforms, or ADP experience
  • Employee onboarding and compliance processes
