Role Overview

Sangoma is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the HR department, you will play a dual role in IT recruiting and HR generalist responsibilities, leveraging your expertise to support the organization's growth and success.

IT Recruiting

  • Source, screen, and engage top technical talent across multiple functions
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop innovative sourcing strategies
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process, from interview coordination to offer negotiations
  • Provide a stellar candidate experience, ensuring a seamless and engaging hiring process
  • Analyze recruiting data and metrics to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes
  • Create monthly reports and represent the company at job fairs and networking events

HR Generalist Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and workplace matters
  • Support activities centered around the employee experience of onboarding, transfers, and offboarding
  • Aid in employee relations, performance management, and compliance initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support HRIS data integrity
  • Generate reports and insights to support data-driven HR decision-making
  • Contribute to training and development initiatives to enhance employee growth
  • Partner with the HR team to drive engagement, culture, and continuous improvement projects

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting and HR functions
  • Prior experience working in a software or SaaS-based technology company
  • A strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers for technical roles and collaborating with managers on HR activities such as performance management, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Experience using structured interviewing, consistent interview scorecards, and competency-based interviewing techniques to evaluate candidates and support hiring decisions
  • Experience handling employee relations matters, supporting performance management processes, and conducting HR investigations with sound documentation and confidentiality practices
  • Experience supporting onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding processes
  • Experience maintaining HR records, ensuring HRIS data integrity, and supporting HR compliance initiatives
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR and recruiting data
  • Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems; experience with ADP Workforce Now and Workable is preferred
  • A self-starter attitude with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment
  • Experience supporting performance management through goal-setting frameworks such as OKRs and coaching practices is a plus
  • Experience building onboarding plans, such as 30/60/90-day plans, is a plus
  • Being located in the Eastern Time Zone is preferred

For this role, we offer a salary range of $70,000 - $95,000 USD/year based on location, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location.
