Human Resources Business Partner- Operations
About the role
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will guide leadership within assigned business groups to align HR strategies with organizational objectives. This role requires a strategic partnership with leadership, talent management, employee relations, and operations.
Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to understand business goals and develop strategic plans to support current and future organizational needs
Lead workforce planning initiatives, including proactive hiring strategies to support growth and evolving business demands
Drive succession planning processes, including talent reviews and retirement planning
Support organizational restructures and reorganizations, including workforce impact analysis and change support
Lead the performance management process, including objective setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans
Partner with leaders to assess employee capabilities and implement individual development plans aligned with business needs
Acknowledge and approve tuition reimbursement requests
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent
Provide insight into market competitiveness, industry trends, and compensation alignment
Support strategic hiring decisions and workforce forecasting
Coach managers and leaders on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, and performance concerns
Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations to leadership
Manage terminations and conduct exit interviews; analyze trends and provide actionable insights
Partner with Benefits to facilitate ADA accommodations as needed
Review contractor exceptions (family member employment, etc.) and evaluate Motor Vehicle Record exceptions in coordination with Risk Management
Maintain strong working knowledge of employment laws and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Support employee engagement survey administration, communications, and action planning with leadership
Support employee engagement activities and recognition programs to enhance culture and retention
Ensure HRIS data accuracy, including job titles, departments, and organizational structures
Provide relevant workforce data and reporting to business leaders and present key updates in HR team meetings
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives related to HR processes and programs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum five years of experience in Human Resources, partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with HRIS systems and analytics
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
