The Seagate Human Resources team is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking, solutions-oriented professional for the Human Resources Business Partner (Onsite) role. The role of a Human Resources Business Partner is to solve organizational challenges with people-related solutions aligned to our core values, while showing a commitment to providing an amazing employee experience for our employees through all phases of their careers. This role will be responsible for influencing and executing our organizational and people-related strategy and collaborating with our leadership team.
About The Role
- You Will Lead HR support primarily for engineering organizations, serving as a strategic HR partner to leaders and teams to align people strategies with business priorities in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Provide HR support for the Bloomington manufacturing site, partnering with site leaders as needed to address employee and business needs and ensure alignment across the broader organization.
- Be present and engaged—build strong relationships with leaders and employees, listen actively, and partner directly with managers to influence decisions that drive both people and business outcomes.
- Build leadership capability through mentorship opportunities, providing coaching, guidance, and development support to junior employees while strengthening the broader team.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver inclusive, global HR programs tailored to the needs of engineering teams while also supporting manufacturing requirements where appropriate.
- Use data and insights to guide decision-making, identify trends, and proactively address workforce challenges.
- Lead and support people strategies aligned with business goals, including performance management, talent development, and organizational design.
- Provide expert, hands-on support in areas such as employee relations, coaching, career development, engagement, and recognition.
- Help leaders and teams navigate challenges by identifying root causes and implementing practical, cross-functional solutions.
- Create clear, compelling communication and presentation materials to support HR initiatives and leadership engagement.
- Lead and participate in local and global HR projects, ensuring effective program and project management.
- Maintain flexibility for occasional support outside normal working hours when needed to partner with global teams or assist with manufacturing-related needs.
- Serve as a visible role model for our values and culture, championing integrity, inclusion, and innovation in every interaction.

Your Experience
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a manufacturing or operations-focused environment.
- Deep knowledge of core HR disciplines, including organizational effectiveness, employee relations, engagement, performance management, coaching and development, and employment law.
- Strong understanding of annual HR processes and demonstrated success in implementing them through effective project management.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and/or equivalent experience.
- You might also have:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for actions based on the analysis.
- Experience in representing HR in site compliance audits such as ISO-9001, Business Continuity Management and RBA (Responsible Business Alliance).
- The ability to build and influence relationships with leaders and a set of stakeholders to drive organizational change as well as being a skilled communicator.
Salary
The estimated base salary range for this position is: $81,500.00 - $116,000.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.

Location
This is an onsite role based in our Bloomington, MN manufacturing site. You will work onsite weekdays (Mon - Fri) during core business hours including availability for off-shift needs when necessary to support the business.
