Human Resources Business Partner, Employee Relations

Responsibilities

• Manages and resolves employee relations issues and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provides support to leadership and employees to resolve employee relations issues.
• Provides coaching and counseling to leadership in the area of employee training, corrective action/performance improvement, terminations, investigations, and employee complaints/grievances.
• Supports leadership in workforce reduction efforts by gathering relevant data, preparing analytical reports, and obtaining internal approvals.
• Supports the Talent Acquisition team during the offer rescission process.
• Reviews and responds to turnover data obtained from exit interviews.
• Responds to unemployment insurance claims.
• Performs special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or closely related field.
• At least two (2) years of Human Resources work experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations required.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment law.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Human Resources Professional Certification preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $75,358.40 to $99,590.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
