What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HRBP, HR Generalist or HR Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of federal, multi-state, and local employment and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, coach and collaborate with leaders across all levels.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Data-driven and highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS and reporting tools
- Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing, distribution and/or luxury retail experience a plus.
- Ability to look at issues from a business lens and then apply HR knowledge and expertise in achievement of effective solutions.
- Strong leadership and team building abilities.
How success is defined
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance issues, team dynamics, and leadership development.
- Drive workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Lead or support talent acquisition strategies in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Facilitate employee engagement and retention strategies and initiatives.
- Promote and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Including participation in company sponsored events.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with local, state, and federal laws.
- Partner with regional HR colleagues, where applicable, to support cross-functional initiatives.
