About the Role

The Human Resources Business Partner leads best practices and objectives to foster an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment, and employee satisfaction. This position reports to the Sr. Director of HR and coordinates the implementation of services, policies, and benefits programs in partnership with internal and external resources. The role advises company employees and managers on Human Resources issues, policies, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Partner
    • Partner with leadership to align business strategies with HR objectives.
    • Design, recommend, and implement process changes to drive operational transformations, efficiency improvements, and best practices.
    • Analyze internal trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions and programs addressing business needs.
    • Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development to provide solutions for internal stakeholders.
    • Support organizational development, design, and employee growth across different areas and levels.
  • HR Program Support
    • Administer human resources programs, including employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, and employee relations.
    • Perform routine tasks related to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training.
    • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; escalate complex or sensitive matters as needed.
  • Pre-Employment and Onboarding
    • Facilitate hiring of qualified candidates for open positions in collaboration with departmental managers.
    • Conduct new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
    • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments (e.g., safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, aptitude exams, and certifications).
  • Compliance and Best Practices
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies and practices to ensure adherence.
    • Stay updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Travel

This position requires up to 25% travel.
