About the Role

The Human Resources Business Partner leads best practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment, and employee satisfaction. This position reports to the Sr. Director of HR and coordinates the implementation of services, policies, and benefits programs in partnership with internal and external resources. The role assists and advises company employees and managers on Human Resources issues, policies, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to align business strategies with HR objectives.
  • Design, recommend, and implement process changes to drive operational transformations, efficiency improvements, and best practices.
  • Analyze internal trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions and programs addressing business needs.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development to provide solutions for internal stakeholders.
  • Support development across different areas and levels, including organizational design.
  • Administer and execute human resource programs, including employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, and employee relations.
  • Perform routine tasks related to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters as needed.
  • Facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions and collaborate with departmental managers to identify required skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments (e.g., safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, aptitude exams, and certifications).
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies and practices to ensure adherence.
  • Stay updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

This position may include up to 25% travel and may have supervisory responsibilities.
