Human Resources Business Partner

About the role
The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, providing essential services such as transportation, wastewater collection and treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a senior individual contributor position within HR, serving as the primary contact for managers and supervisors seeking HR services. The HRBP bridges HR processes with business objectives, acting as a consultant and advisor to assigned business units.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include any of the following combinations of completed education and experience:
- A high school diploma or GED and nine or more years of experience providing HR generalist consultation to managers and supervisors in all of the following areas: employee performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational restructuring.
- An associate degree (field of study in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or closely related field) and seven or more years of experience.
- A bachelor’s degree and five or more years of experience.
- A master’s degree and three or more years of experience.
Pay
Salary range: $96,512.00 – $156,624.00 annually.
