About the role
Working closely with Business Unit leadership, HR Business Partner Leadership, and all other HR functions, you will provide full-service human capital support and direction. As the primary HR partner for at least one key department within the business unit, you will develop and execute talent strategy, including workforce planning, recruiting strategy, talent evaluation, leadership development, and organizational design. You will also provide expertise in employee relations, HR policies and procedures, compensation, employee engagement strategies, and overall cultural influence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with business unit leaders to ensure visibility and availability for all HR-related needs.
- Serve as the primary HR business partner for one or more departments within a business unit.
- Lead and support Talent Strategy activities, including Talent Forum preparation, reporting, calibration hosting, workforce analysis and planning, job evaluation, recruiting support, and organization design efforts.
- Provide high-level support for compensation activities, including the annual merit process, promotion process, job pricing, compensation evaluation, incentive plan support, and issue resolution.
- Support business unit leaders on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, exit interviews, legal proceedings, and overall employee relations strategy.
- Support Employee Engagement Activities through observation, information sharing, and analysis of Employee Surveys and other feedback sources.
- Engage as a leader in the organization by supporting and promoting the ACI Strategy and aligning practices and priorities with it.
- Interpret and communicate ACI Policies and Procedures to assist business unit leaders in adhering to company expectations.
- Provide analytical, administrative, and front-line support to the HR Business Partner Leader in all areas of the function.
- Participate in projects across the HR function and/or the business unit.
- Identify business unit needs and collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to determine solutions.
- Act as an extension of the HR COEs for communication, adoption, and execution of COE processes or initiatives.
- Advocate for business unit employees to cultivate an environment of high-level employee experience.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and data-driven insights to enhance workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness while ensuring responsible and ethical use of technology.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Management, leadership, or significant HR Generalist experience.
- Experience and fluency in the use of AI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- HR Business Partner experience.
- Technology, Software, and/or Payments Industry experience.
- Professional HR Certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP).
- Global experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and horizontally across the company.
Work Environment
- Standard office environment with the majority of time spent on a PC.
- Some travel required, which may be domestic or international.
