About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and proactive HR Associate to join our growing team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate possessing a bachelor’s degree who is eager to build a comprehensive foundation in Human Resources. This role will perform a broad range of duties to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and compliance. The HR Associate role is salaried, exempt, and full time. It is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Processes & Onboarding: Own the end-to-end new hire onboarding pipeline, coordinate manager/buddy training, and administer the tracking and scheduling of performance reviews.
- Data, Payroll & Benefits: Support the administration of regular payroll cycles, track stipends/milestone payouts, manage employee benefits enrollments (including Open Enrollment and Qualifying Life Events), and maintain accurate records across all core internal databases.
- Time-Off & Compliance Tracking: Manage and log employee paid time off (PTO) requests, track annual minimum utilization, provide monthly reports to managers, and monitor compliance for new hires & ongoing training programs.
- Retention & Engagement Programs: Oversee employee milestone rewards, tenure incentives (including trip and sabbatical programs), birthday PTO, and employee gifting.
- Employee Relations & Recruitment: Provide general support for everyday employee inquiries, assist with policy application, and coordinate candidate background checks and student tours to support recruitment efforts.
- Office Administration Backup: Partner with the Office Coordinator to assist with shared administrative duties, including backup, office supply procurement, mail distribution, and maintaining an organized office environment.

- Must be located in DFW or willing to relocate

- Demonstrated strength in multi-tasking with high attention to detail
- Excellent planning, written, and verbal communication skills

- Hightly reliable, accurate, and works well independently
- Familiarity or prior experience with project management tools, like Asana, preferred
- High sense of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
