Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide variety of technical support, focused primarily in the areas of recruitment and staffing.
  • Coordinates with management officials to recruit for position vacancies.
  • Extends job offers, conducts pre-employment screenings, and assists selectees during pre-employment processes.
  • Uses automated systems to track requests for personnel actions and continually updates status of assigned personnel actions.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must complete CHRA NAF Career Path I within 18 months of position placement.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less) and clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pertain to this position.

  • NF-02 (Developmental): Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience demonstrating the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems.
  • NF-03:
    • Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession demonstrating the capability to perform a variety of recruitment functions, such as posting vacancy announcements and rating applicants for qualifications and eligibility.
    • Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (e.g., USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft).
    • Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

Highly Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
