Human Resources Assistant

Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintains up-to-date and organized HR files, e.g., confidential, personnel, medical, training, I-9, driver’s license, and insurance paperwork.
- Affords assistance with processing paperwork for new hires and terminations, including retirement report and forms when applicable.
- Affords assistance with advertising all open positions available on-center with Job Bid Program and off-center resources.
- Affords assistance with conducting benefits enrollment and orientation for new employees and informs new employees of available insurance benefits, procedures, etc.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years’ related experience in Human Resources preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
About Our Program
Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.
