SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Find and attend job fairs
  • Promote Chrysalis's name in the community
  • Develop new ways to increase the applicant pool
  • Call all applicants and set up interviews
  • Interview candidates
  • Perform background checks
  • Drug test prospective employees
  • Additional office administrative duties as assigned by the Area Director and/or Human Resources Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 18 years old and high school diploma or GED
  • Engaging and outgoing personality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good clerical and office skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of Windows XP, Microsoft Office, and other basic office software
  • Good public relations skills
  • Good judgment and ability to handle stressful situations
  • Able to communicate positively and efficiently with all employees and prospective employees

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience and/or equivalent education in promoting a business and hiring employees
  • Good understanding of the Ogden area and community resources
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills
  • Good judgment and ability to organize workload
  • Good general writing/oral communication skills and ability to articulate oneself on various issues
  • Understanding of SRC policies
  • Understanding of Medicaid and insurance policies
  • Understanding of HR laws and regulations, and ability to interact positively with staff
  • Good public relations skills
