What you’ll do
- Aid and counsel military personnel and dependents within the Air Force community
- Create, maintain, and audit personnel records of military members
- Conduct interviews to assess individual interests and qualifications
- Monitor retention programs and generate reports and statistics
- Oversee personnel activities and functions
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with personnel policies, directives, and procedures
- Handle in-and-out processing
Training & Education
- BASIC MILITARY TRAINING: 7.5 weeks
- Tech School Location: Keesler AFB, MS
- Status upon completion: Enlisted Airman with earned credits towards Human Resources Management
- Eligibility requirements:
- Age: 17–42 years old
- Citizenship: U.S. citizen
- ASVAB Score: Qualifying score required
- AFQT Test Score: Non-graduates or non-alternate credential holders must score 65 or higher
- Qualification Level: 59 Administrative (A)
- Skills Required:
- Distinct speaking ability
- Keyboard operation at a minimum rate of 25 words per minute
