Human Resources Analyst (Payroll)

About the role

The HR Analyst (Payroll) assists and backs up the Payroll Supervisor in various aspects of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with regulations and handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Aid and support the Payroll Supervisor in all aspects of payroll processing
• Ensure payroll records adhere to regulations and accurately report overtime calculations
• Monitor leave balances, verify leave accruals, and prepare listings of expiring leave balances
• Edit, balance, and remit vendor reports, including communication with vendors
• Prepare W2 statements
• Administer pension refunds and contributions
• Provide technical instruction for payroll functions and assist with specialized clerical work
• Perform payroll tax activities
• Maintain related records for payroll, pension, and leave balances
• Respond to verification of employment requests, DOT verifications, unemployment notices, etc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• General knowledge of payroll, accounting, or finance, equivalent to an Associate’s degree
• 2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 12 to 18 months of management experience
• People and/or project management skills
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and acceptable driving record

Skills

• Experience using UKG software (preferred)
• Ability to meet physical standards for the position

Pay

$24.07–$25.18 per hour, depending on experience
