Job Summary
The HR Advisor serves as the HR representative for H 2 O Innovation USA, overseeing HR activities across the U.S. They partner with leaders and employees to provide consistent, high-quality employee experience and support organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary and autonomous HR point of contact for H 2 O Innovation USA, based in Ramsey and supporting employees across multiple U.S. locations.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee relations.
- Support and guide managers through a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, workplace investigations, and terminations.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes end-to-end, including onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility, and leave administration.
- Provide timely support to employees by addressing inquiries related to policies, working conditions, and HR programs.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and HR standards while maintaining compliance with U.S. federal and state employment laws.
- Partner with managers on workforce planning, team development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to support recruitment activities as needed.
- Partner with payroll and benefits providers to ensure accuracy and compliance in employee data, compensation changes, and benefits administration.
- Support the administration and renewal of group insurance and benefits programs in the U.S.
- Identify process gaps and implement practical improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Contribute to the achievement of HR and organizational objectives (OKRs) and actively promote H 2 O’s values and culture across locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with exposure to employee relations and day-to-day HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR practices.
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, leave management, terminations).
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with a remote manager and team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support managers and employees.
- Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office tools (or similar platforms).
