Human Resource Specialist (Recruiting) – Volunteer Role

The Role

This role owns candidate sourcing and initial screening, ensuring we have a steady flow of qualified candidates ready to move through the hiring process.

You are not making final decisions. You are ensuring the right candidates make it to that stage.

Qualifications

• Required: 1–3 years in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess candidate qualifications

• PREFERRED: Experience sourcing on LinkedIn or similar platforms
• Experience in nonprofit or volunteer environments
• Experience working in remote teams

Commitment

• Flexible schedule (aligned with recruitment needs)
• Fully remote
• 10-15 hours per week
