Human Resource Manager

About the role

This position may also assist with recruitment and other special projects while ensuring compliance with company policies, federal and local state laws.

Responsibilities

• Leave of absences, accommodations, workers comp, compliance, employee relations, investigations, coaching and counseling sessions, terminations and union grievances
• Miscellaneous tasks including basic HR functions

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Employee Relations experience
• Ability to advise management
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Acts to ensure compliance with FLSA and other applicable states and regulations
• Compliance with Federal and State laws
• Computer literacy
• Calm, polite, and professional behavior
• Strong planning, organizing, and decision-making abilities
• Must be able to pass background investigation and drug screening
