Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary champion for a positive and compliant workplace culture.
- Conduct objective investigations, proactively mitigate conflicts, and design strategies that support employee retention, equity, and fair treatment across the organization.
- Standardize and manage foundational HR lifecycle processes, including structured onboarding/offboarding, performance management frameworks, benefits administration, and regular HR audits.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of H-1B visas and other employment-based visa workflows. Partner with external immigration counsel, track strict compliance timelines, and guide foreign national employees through the intake and renewal processes.
- Ensure total adherence to local, state, and federal labor laws. Maintain accurate employee data and update internal policies to mirror current compliance standards.
- Provide necessary HR and employee relations oversight for the Miami warehouse team to ensure unified company policies and open lines of communication.
Position Requirements
- Employee Relations (Must-Have): Extensive, proven experience handling complex employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and internal workplace investigations.
- Immigration Expertise (Must-Have): Direct, hands-on experience processing and managing H-1B visas and general employment-based visa workflows.
- Language Skills (Strong Plus): Spanish fluency (verbal and written) is highly preferred to effectively support and communicate with the warehouse workforce.
- Experience: 4+ years of progressive HR experience, with a heavy emphasis on core HR operations and compliance, preferably within a mixed corporate and logistics environment.
