About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Operations Coordinator to join our team in Van Nuys, California. In this role, you will provide essential support in various human resources functions, ensuring smooth administrative processes and fostering a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring that company policies are applied fairly and consistently.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Support HR programs and initiatives, including recognition programs, payroll, benefits, recruitment, health and safety, and employee events.
  • Draft and distribute outgoing correspondence and internal memorandums as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new team members.
  • Conduct background checks and verify employment documentation as part of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate improvements in HR operations and procedures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance with HR-related matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HR department.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources administration or a related role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and data management.
  • Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and employee relations best practices.
  • Experience conducting background checks and verifying employment documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various administrative tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating correspondence and assisting employees.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
