About the role
Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. This position reports to Human Resource Director and will work in Litchfield, Illinois.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver full-cycle recruitment across all functions within a manufacturing environment
- Plan, recruit, and administer summer student work program
- Cook up with academic institutions to maintain and further develop the maturity of the interns program
- Responsibility of onboarding activities including program enrollments, orientation, and training
- Administer leave of absence program
- Advise and coach leadership in areas of employee/labor relations, performance management, and talent development
- Plan, develop, and implement policies and programs and provide interpretations as necessary
- Manage HRIS employee data, monthly reporting including but not limited to headcounts, leaves, and terminations
- Aid the Health, Safety, & Environmental leader on safety & sustainability initiatives
- Facilitate investigations including interviews, evidence, and fact-finding meetings
- Lead employee engagement committee with direction and oversight of monthly activities and annual events

Qualifications and Experiences
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary role in Human Resources within a union environment
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or another related discipline or equivalent experience within HR field
- Mechanical/Distribution industry experience preferred
- Intermediate MS Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- HRIS systems experience preferred
- Experience in UKG/Kronos
- SHRM-CP designation preferred
