Description

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO. The hospital focuses on personalized care and is a Medicare 4-star rated facility. It is the oldest town west of the Mississippi river and employs approximately 400 employees and 100 multi-specialty providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provides HR services in various areas including benefits administration, employee relations, leave of absence management, onboarding for providers/leaders, general HR customer service and orientation
  • Planner and coordinator of special events promoting employee recognition/engagement
  • Routine salary administration
  • Processes unemployment and workers compensation claims
  • Maintains employee records in compliance with regulatory bodies and organizational standards
  • Affords assistance with all aspects of the talent acquisition and employment process, from initial application and onboarding through employee separation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a Human Resource Generalist role
  • Prior experience in healthcare human resources preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a Human Resource Generalist role
  • Prior experience in healthcare human resources preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
