Human Resource Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resource Generalist to support the recruitment hiring process. This position would support the recruiting process fully. The position is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5pm onsite office based in St Petersburg FL with a 30 minute unpaid lunch/break period.

Responsibilities

• Supports the recruiting process fully
• Supports all aspects of recruitment and onboarding
• Manages computer, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Knowledge of employment law and labor regulations
• Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
• Experience with HRIS systems (preferably ADP)
• Sound knowledge of full-cycle recruiting
• Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
• Experience in a nonprofit environment preferred

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field
• 5 years of prior experience as an HR Recruiter/Onboarding
• Sound knowledge of all HR processes (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, training, talent management etc.)
• Experience with resume HRIS system required
• Clear Criminal Background Check throughout employment with Suncoast Center and local checks prior to hire and annually along with DCF Level II prior to hire and as required by DCF, and Must have valid Florida Driver’s License Motor Vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment along with reliable vehicle, valid registration, and valid vehicle insurance.
