About the role
We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing, collaborative HR team. This is a hands-on role supporting the full employee lifecycle in a dynamic, global organization. Based in our Rockville, Maryland office, you’ll partner closely with leaders and employees while collaborating with HR colleagues across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance for managers and employees across multiple locations, ensuring consistent interpretation of policies and procedures.
- Travel between Rockville and DC office locations to support employee engagement and strengthen manager relationships.
- Facilitate an engaging new hire experience by reinforcing organizational culture and values through onboarding, orientation, and ongoing employee support.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, conduct investigations, and partner with leadership to drive timely and effective resolutions.
- Coach managers on conflict resolution, performance concerns, and employee engagement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across assigned locations.
- Collaborate with the North America HR team to update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Guide managers on documentation standards and the development of performance improvement plans.
- Support managers throughout performance review cycles by monitoring goal progress and advising on corrective or developmental actions.
- Partner with the HR shared services, benefits administrator, HR operations, and payroll manager, and talent acquisition to address employee inquiries and ensure accurate and timely information flows.
- Maintain audit readiness by ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
- Project manage complex HR projects, including mergers and acquisitions, organizational changes, and change management initiatives.
Qualifications
- 8 years + of experience in Human Resource business partner roles.
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support policy implementation and employee engagement.
- Proficient with HRIS platforms (Workday and Compose preferred), and Microsoft Office.
- Recognized as a trusted advisor, with high discretion, strong empathy, and the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM‑CP or PHR are a plus.

Pay
The Rockville, MD expected base pay range is $75,000- $93,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.
