Responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices in accordance with company and client worksite policies.
- Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard a family-centric culture.
- Serve as the site leader for HR policy application, providing guidance and support for all policy and employee-related matters.
- Partner with site leadership on corrective actions, transfer requests, and employee relations.
- Conduct benefits meetings, presentations, and open enrollment events.
- Lead New Hire Orientation for designated sites, ensuring completion of I-9 and other required documentation.
- Promote employee engagement and retention through coordinated onboarding and ongoing development programs.
- Develop and implement training programs aligned with career paths, employee goals, and business needs.
- Provide HR support to employees, addressing questions and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct site investigations, partnering with HR Manager for escalations and final implementation.
- Drive development of site leadership through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Collaborate with site leadership to implement annual engagement plans and associated budgets.
- Gather and analyze employment data to improve HR execution and track progress.
- Facilitate site training for annual self-evaluations, peer reviews, and performance review processes.
- Support 30, 60, and 90-day performance feedback meetings for new hires.
- Upload employee information and records to HRIS in compliance with policies and labor laws.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues, applying motivational strategies, and organizing team-building activities.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local labor regulations.
- Demonstrate relationship management skills and effective consultation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement activities aligned with corporate strategic goals.
- Participate in site leadership meetings to provide HR updates and initiatives.
- Provide requested reporting, such as active company drivers, to site leadership.
- Facilitate leave requests, administer communication and paperwork, and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate tracking information and follow up with employees and managers as needed.
- Travel as required by E2 Optics.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or similar field.
- 7+ years of Human Resource experience in progressively responsible roles (will be considered in lieu of degree).
- PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience administering HR policies in an industrial or manufacturing setting preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaborative skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Practical understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of employment and labor laws.
- Tactful, professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, and external parties.
- Strong attention to detail with organizational, record-keeping, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to identify and act on issues, gaps, or opportunities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities under time pressure.
- Positive attitude and adaptability to changing requirements.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player with excellent work ethics.
- Strategic planning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, XMind, etc.).

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level is usually moderate. This role requires:
- Sitting, use of hands and arms, and verbal communication.
- Occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling.
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Regularly carrying and climbing ladders up to 20 feet.
- Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required.
- Potential work in tight and confined spaces.
