Human Resource Director
Position Summary
The Human Resources Director at Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Bastrop coordinates personnel matters, processes time and attendance, identifies training needs, and conducts performance improvement plans. They also develop and recommend HR practices, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Education & Experience
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources is preferred.
CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required (will provide service or renewal if needed).
Experience as a Human Resources Manager in a hospital setting is preferred, or 3-5 years as a Human Resources Generalist in a hospital setting.
Knowledge & Skills
Effective verbal and organizational skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Analytical problem-solving skills.
Proficient knowledge of PC computers.
Basic understanding of medical and psychiatric diagnoses and conditions.
