Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organizational goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Plan, develop, and implement HR policies, procedures, and training programs that support compliance and company objectives.
- Oversee HR programs including compensation, benefits, employee relations, investigations, performance management, recognition, safety, and training.
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Manage HR staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance recommendations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and technology, and communicate updates to leadership.
- Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of HR management experience required.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS/talent management systems.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
