Human Resource Director

The Freedom Behavioral Human Resources Generalist coordinates personnel matters, processes accurate time and attendance for all employees, identifies training needs, and recommends performance improvement plans. Duties include:

1. Accurate time and attendance processing
2. Training and retraining referrals
3. Performance improvement plans for underperforming employees

Responsibilities also include:

• Overseeing human resources issues such as staffing, staff relations, orientation, and development
• Directing the Human Resources Department as a resource person
• Developing and recommending human resources practices and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Participating in performance improvement and CQI activities

Qualifications:

• Preferred Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources
• No specific license required
• Experience as a Human Resources Generalist in a hospital setting preferred; 3-5 years as a Human Resources Generalist required
• Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Affirmative Action, ADA, and FMLA
