About the role
The HR Coordinator serves as the essential HR point of contact, fostering collaboration with the local operations team to create a positive and engaging employee experience. This role involves advocating for employees, partnering with warehouse leadership, and ensuring the implementation of a consistent Stord culture.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for all HR-related matters in the warehouse, providing consistent and dependable support.
- Collaborate with management on corrective actions, investigations, escalations, time and attendance requests, and benefits questions.
- Provide daily/weekly attendance reports to operations leadership, tracking UPT, PTO, callouts, and general attendance compliance.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for people programs and processes to ensure legal compliance and industry consistency.
- Advocate for employees while empowering them and their managers to self-advocate.
- Analyze people data to identify trends and provide proactive engagement opportunities and solutions.
- Enforce people policies with input from the operations team to ensure best practices.
- Create and maintain a positive culture that balances operational efficiency with supportive people programs.
- Organize and implement ideas for employee engagement and operational excellence, in collaboration with the 1P People team.

- Strong skills in employee engagement and problem-solving with diverse populations.
- Experience working in a rapidly changing environment driven by continuous innovation.
- Knowledge and application of HR fundamentals.
- Ability to partner with management to develop forward-looking strategies and goals focused on the employee experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Bonus points
- Experience in a startup environment or similarly dynamic workplace.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools, such as Workday.
- Experience conducting employee engagement surveys and implementing action plans.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance procedures, including conducting onsite drug screenings.
- Background in developing and managing employee engagement activities and programs.
