Human Resource Clerk

About the role

The Human Resource Clerk performs administrative support tasks in human resources. Starts seasonal with potential for post season employment opportunities.

Department

Human Resources (May temporarily work at two Chehalis plant locations)

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality on all matters related to the position and the organization
• Maintains accurate employee files and records
• Assist with employee requests regarding policies and schedules
• Assist with resolving employee concerns and communicating information to employees
• Responsible for maintaining archive records
• Answering general questions regarding employment, records, and status
• Customer service and clerical responsibilities including: answering phones, drafting documents, printing items, organizing work, relaying messages, etc.
• Learn and comply with company standards and operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
• Ability to multitask as well as manage changing priorities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of Human Resources OR Office Administration experience OR equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Multilingual
• Data entry experience
• KRONOS database experience

Pay

$19.55 per hour

Schedule

Starts seasonal with potential for post season employment opportunities. Full time or Part time hours available; including some day shifts, but mostly swing or night shift. Includes weekends, overtime, and some holidays.
