Human Resource Business Partner
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office in Cleveland, OH.
About the role
The Linear Motion Division, part of Regal Rexnord's Automation & Motion Control (AMC) segment, is a major contributor to the segment, with approximately 1,500 global associates and $400M in revenue. There are 10 main sites located across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, & Europe.
The HR Business Partner (HR Generalist II) plays a key role in the plant’s success by advising on performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices while fostering strong partnerships between employees and management. This role provides a wide range of HR guidance and hands-on support, contributing directly to a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, HR expertise, and employee-relations skills to support both employees and leaders. This role also leads full-cycle recruiting for direct labor roles, ensuring the plant is staffed with reliable, high-quality talent to meet daily operational demands.
Responsibilities
- Partners with management to advise and counsel on personnel issues.
- Provides facility supervision on employee relations matters including investigations, resolving conflict, and communications regarding employee questions, issues, or concerns.
- Assists in recruiting for non-exempt roles to bring in the best talent available.
- Ensures regulatory compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, and other employment laws.
- Stays current on recent federal, state, and case law changes and monitors labor law updates for changes that affect HR.
- Responds to general employee inquiries and supports day-to-day HR needs as they arise.
- Partners with associates and managers to administer various policies and procedures.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Prepares and maintains records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data.
- Maintains HRIS integrity.
- Partners with managers to actively improve associate engagement, including maintaining and coordinating various recognition programs and employee events.
- Partners with managers to establish and provide training and development opportunities.
- Serves as Workers Comp liaison for employees, management, and third-party administrators to ensure effective claim management.
- Responsible for internal company communication, including bulletin boards and company newsletters.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of broad, hands-on human resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients and work effectively with different cultures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and dynamic deadlines, flexible and positive in a fast-paced business environment, with efficient time management and communication.
- Continuous improvement mentality.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with proven influencing experience with managers.
- Ability to analyze data, form plans, and execute at the tactical level.
- Detail-oriented, able to establish priorities and manage deadlines.

Pay
Expected salary: $65,000 - $90,000 annually. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
