About the role

As an HR Business Partner, you will provide day-to-day guidance to the Operations Team and act as the Primary Point of Contact in all HR areas. This includes performance management guidance, interpreting HR policies and procedures, and driving HR initiatives and programs. You will work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. This position is 100% onsite at one of our TP locations across the US; work from home is not available.

Available locations: Brownsville, TX; Bristol, TN (high priority); Columbia, SC; El Paso, TX; Las Vegas, NV (high priority); McAllen, TX (high priority); North Lauderdale, FL; Port St. Lucie, FL; Richmond, VA (high priority).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and present best practices within the HR function to enhance HR credibility and performance
  • Serve as a point of contact and resource for management on HR policies, programs, and processes to answer questions and resolve problems
  • Partner with the HR Knowledge Center, Director of HR, and other HR areas to drive HR initiatives and programs based on organizational needs and industry best practices
  • Act as a first-line resource to departments and managers on employee and performance management matters, providing guidance to influence optimal outcomes
  • Provide professional HR guidance and support to internal client groups across geographies to add value to the business
  • Assist with the implementation and day-to-day management of corporate human resource policies and programs at the segment or division level
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leadership to provide consultation and guidance on all HR-related matters
  • Provide guidance on sensitive employee issues including performance management, terminations, and exit interviews to ensure consistency throughout the assigned business unit
  • Assist with company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., employee engagement, salary reviews, bonus awards, workforce planning, and organizational changes)
  • Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts, working with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues
  • Partner with corporate-level HR functions such as Compensation, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, etc., to provide feedback and insight on business needs and identify process improvements
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained in human resource information system records and reports; develop reporting tools and techniques to capture and distribute meaningful HR data and metrics
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or equivalent combination of experience and education with experience in Human Resources Management
  • 5+ years of proven success in managing a professional Human Resources team of 10 or more experienced associates
  • Experience in an HR role where you acted as a true partner to the business by utilizing HR data to address and solve real-world people problems
  • Solid knowledge of HR Federal and State Laws regarding Wage and Hour law, FMLA, ADA, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working with HRIS systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and management, with extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple demands and work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Excellent time management skills and flexible availability to adjust schedule based on current business needs
  • Experience working with multiple locations or a significant workforce preferred
  • Must be prompt, dependable, and have an excellent attendance history
  • Must pass mandatory background checks, which may include pre-screenings, illegal drug tests, and credit checks
