About the role
The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the billing process for Giving Home Health Care, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of claims to insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Review and process insurance claims, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and coding standards.
- Work closely with medical staff to ensure accurate documentation and coding for billing purposes.
- Handle inquiries from patients and insurance companies regarding billing issues.
- Generate and submit monthly financial reports to management.
- Ensure all billing activities adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing and coding.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Skills
- Coding and billing software proficiency (e.g., Cerner, Epic).
- Basic understanding of healthcare reimbursement laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
