Since 2005, Country Terrace has consistently been one of the most popular restaurants in Gozo. This delightful, rustic country-house-turned-restaurant’s terrace offers an unmatched vantage point of unhindered views of the Mgarr Harbour, Fort Chambray and the three sister islands, Kemmuna, Kemmunett and Malta.

About the role

Owners Joseph and Katy pour their whole being into ensuring their guests’ satisfaction. The result of their tireless dedication and relentless attention to detail shows clearly in the pleased expressions and relaxed postures of their guests, most of whom have been regulars for many years.

The food at Country Terrace focuses on top quality produce prepared in an honest, uncompromising way, and with a touch of flair for presentation. Mains cover the whole range — fresh catches of the day, prime cuts of AAA Angus beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game (including traditionally-prepared rabbit stew), all served with local market vegetables and potatoes. An extensive wine list comprising excellent picks from top local and foreign producers will leave you spoilt for choice.

    In my opinion, the best restaurant in Gozo… best view in Gozo… overlooking Comino island and port of Mgarr. Food is great and worth the money as these are not expensive at all. The staff is very helpful and sweet… they all make you feel at home. Country Terrace is surely not to be missed when visiting this island.

    A superbly excellent restaurant is an understatement when referring to Country Terrace! Been here with my husband and daughter for a relaxing dinner and been offered this and much more: service with a smile, professional staff, optimum starters, delicious mains and desserts to die for! Vast wine selection and an appreciated limoncello to finish off this superb meal. EXCELLENT! A big thank you to Joseph the owner for taking so much care of each and every client.
