Verbena is a quiet little local restaurant nestled among houses right next to the Zebbiegh church. Its humble appearance contrasts with the exquisitely presented food creations lovingly concocted by the passionate chef owner. A large, fully stocked bar boasting a substantial display of fine single malts oversees the whole restaurant. Comfy sofas line a wall at the entrance and another wall showcases an extensive selection of wines; there is also a full enticing wine display cabinet. Tables are well spaced out and toned-down familiar tunes sound in the background. Verbena is all about homemade and home grown with an emphasis on genuine portions of what is in season – flavour is key here, as is the truly artful plating!
