HSE Intern (Summer 2026)

About the role

As an HSE Intern, you will assist with checking that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements and help establish the site “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” operation procedures and oversee their application.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented
• Carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory surveys
• Carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it
• Auxiliary in implementing and monitoring actions relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account
• Update and complete Safety Data Sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments
• Review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions

Requirements

• You should be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or occupational safety related field (i.e. Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field)
• OR a recent graduate April/May 2025 graduate of one of these types of programs
• Preferably have completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA
