About the role
KLX Energy Services LLC is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support operations in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico. The position involves operating out of a service shop or at customer wells, ensuring compliance with HSE systems, and maintaining confidentiality of employee records.
Responsibilities
- Operate out of a service shop or at a customer's well location with exposure to inclement weather and confined spaces.
- Support and enforce daily implementation of HSE systems, processes, procedures, and regulations.
- Show visible commitment to HSE and be seen as an HSE leader at all times.
- Ensure company policies are posted, known, understood, and applied by all employees.
- Verify that the site supervisor has received clear HSE objectives.
- Review certification records and keep personnel aware of their HSE training requirements.
- Immediately report any HSE non-conformances to the HSE regional manager.
- Support ISN, DOT, Drug-testing & data base, claims risk management, reporting, policy, licensing, certifications, HSE training, etc.
- Liaison for Liability Insurance programs.
- Coordinate all area HSE meetings and maintain documentation associated with company safety policy requirements as directed by the HSE Regional Manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records at all times.
- Format reports, spreadsheets, business letters, and internal memos in support of the HSE & Fleet group.
- Support and coordinate personnel HSE performance on and off job locations.
- Ensure all company policy adherence and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with all state/federal laws and regulations.
- HSE Vendor relations, supply & inventory.
Requirements
- High School or GED.
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience of HSE operations, policy, regulation & programs.
- An acceptable driving record.
- Computer knowledge with Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel.
- Safeland & PEC training experience.
- Working knowledge of Industry-related equipment, function and safety requirements.
- All current HSE certifications.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Safety, & Environment or related discipline.
- Good oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with employees and management.
- Must be able to read and understand complex hazardous shipping labels, Material Safety Data Sheets, etc.
- Strong reasoning skills.
