HRSG Commissioning Advisor

Key Project Requirements

• Extensive experience commissioning HRSG systems on combined-cycle power generation projects.
• Strong knowledge of HRSG steam, feedwater, condensate, and auxiliary systems.
• Previous experience supporting commissioning, startup, or field service activities on GE projects strongly preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HRSG Commissioning Advisor to support startup and commissioning activities for a combined-cycle power generation project in Tennessee.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Review and support execution of HRSG commissioning procedures, test plans, and startup activities.
• Cookordinate and oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities for HRSG systems and associated equipment.
• Support hydro testing, flushing, chemical cleaning, steam blows, and system cleaning activities.
• Lead system walkdowns, identify punch list items, and drive completion of outstanding issues.
• Monitor startup activities including first fire, warm-up, operational testing, and system turnover.
• Cookordinate with construction, operations, engineering, OEM representatives, and subcontractors to ensure safe and successful project execution.

Job Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of HRSG systems, commissioning processes, startup activities, and combined-cycle power plant operations.
• Experience supporting HRSG commissioning, startup, and system turnover on utility-scale power generation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, system drawings, commissioning procedures, technical specifications, and vendor documentation.
• Experience supporting hydro testing, chemical cleaning, steam blows, first fire, and performance testing activities.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to effectively interface with construction teams, operations personnel, OEM representatives, and project stakeholders.

Education / Experience

• 10+ years of experience in HRSG installation, commissioning, or power plant construction.
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.
