About the Role
Shamrock is seeking an HRIS Specialist to support the administration, configuration and ongoing maintenance of our HR systems. This role requires a blend of functional HR knowledge and experience with technical system support experience. The ideal candidate will enjoy supporting HR systems and processes, bringing strong attention to detail while improving system functionality, enhancing both manager and employee experiences, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficient and effective HR processes across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and support HR system functionality across various modules
- Provide support, troubleshooting and guidance to HR team members, managers, and employees
- Create system documentation, user guides and training materials to facilitate user adoption and knowledge transfer
- Configure and maintain workflows, forms, templates, and notifications within the system
- Participate in testing and validation of system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing third-party integrations
- Support quarterly performance module configuration, review tracking, and quarterly communications
- Manage employee data within the HRIS system, including data entry, updates and maintenance
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting for HR team and managers for all business units
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and project deadlines
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion - this position is privy to sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality of all company-related information is an ongoing requirement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, application operational efficiency, and security
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field required
- 1–3 years of experience supporting HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce strongly preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
