About the role

The HRIS Business Systems Analyst – Time & Attendance is responsible for supporting HR and workforce management systems through configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, testing, maintenance, and enhancements. This role partners with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to optimize timekeeping processes, improve system performance, and support ongoing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications and support testing, training, and implementation activities.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance timekeeping and HR system solutions.
  • Support system upgrades, data conversions, integrations, and implementations.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot reports using HRIS and timekeeping reporting tools.
  • Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Develop and maintain testing and audit procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify and support process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and administration of timekeeping and HR systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to deliver solutions.
  • Cross-train and provide support across HRIS applications, processes, and reporting needs.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5+ years of experience supporting HR systems, preferably with a focus on Time & Attendance, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting timekeeping, workforce management, scheduling, or attendance systems.
  • Experience with payroll and HCM system configuration strongly preferred.
  • Workday HRIS implementation experience is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of HR, payroll, and timekeeping processes.
  • Understanding of system configurations, data structures, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions to non-technical users.
  • Experience with HRIS, timekeeping, and workforce management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.

Nice to Have

  • Workday Time Tracking experience.
  • Workforce management or timekeeping system implementation experience.
  • Payroll system knowledge.
  • Experience supporting attendance, scheduling, or labor management processes.
